Hepatitis C
The Hepatitis C virus ("HCV") attacks the liver and proliferates long-term renal illness such as infections, cancer, and cirrhosis. It is the most common blood-borne virus in the United States and it is estimated that 3.9 million Americans have HCV. HCV is the leading cause of liver transplantation in the United States.
