Cancer

There are many different sources that attempt to define Cancer. The simplest definition comes from the
American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society defines Cancer as a group of diseases characterized by uncontrolled growth and spread of abnormal cells.

Chemotherapeutic agents are used to treat various types of cancer cells within the body. These agents can sometimes destroy the body's ability to produce red and white blood cells. The lack of red blood cells (erythropoietin) causes people with cancer to feel fatigue due to oxygen deprivation. Medex BioCare offers red blood cell therapy such as Epogen, Procrit, and Aranesp. The lack of white blood cells leaves cancer patients susceptible to serious infections.

We also offer many of the oral medications for cancer therapy such as, Afinitor, Alimta, Avastin,
Gemzar, Gleevec, Herceptin, Mozobil, Sprycel, Sutent, Tarceva, and others.
